These fats help lower LDL (bad) cholesterol and raise HDL (good) cholesterol.<\/p><p>That&#8217;s why olive oil is often considered one of the healthiest oils. It also contains ten times more omega-3 fatty acids than olive oil. <\/p><p>These fats are essential for heart, brain and joint health, and there is growing evidence that they can also help with inflammatory conditions like arthritis.<\/p><p>It also contains more vitamin E than olive oil. Just one tablespoon provides a fifth of your daily requirement for this powerful antioxidant.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Culinary applications and versatility<\/h2><p>Extra virgin olive oil is ideal for cold dishes, such as salads, dressings and sauces. Due to its lower smoke point, it is less suitable for frying at high temperatures because it can lose its beneficial properties or become harmful when overheated.<\/p><p>In addition, due to its pronounced aroma, it is not suitable for dishes in which we do not want it to be expressed. For example, in mayonnaise or desserts.<\/p><p>On the other hand, rapeseed oil has a high smoke point, making it extremely suitable for frying, baking, saut\u00e9ing and deep-frying.
